My Therapy Philosophy

Holding the whole self in balance

Like the stones in a zen cairn, different parts of the self must be held in balance with one another.

Calm sunrise over gentle ripples

I take a holistic approach to therapy, attending to my clients’ emotional, social, physical and spiritual needs in tandem. My work integrates therapy, coaching, neuroscience research, spirituality, and considerations for good sleep, nourishment, and movement.

Therapy is a non-linear, gradual process that unfolds in widening circles of understanding. My role is to help you see the continuity in your growth, to revisit old stories not to repeat them, but to see their patterns from a broader, more compassionate perspective.

Because we do not exist in isolation, therapy focused only on the individual can be incomplete. The heart of my philosophy is fostering deeper, healthier connections and helping you build a strong support system outside therapy.

Ultimately, therapy is a way for you to intentionally shape your inner world with patience and care. Blending eastern and western philosophy, my practice aims to make mental health care more accessible — rooted in tenderness, co-regulation and the belief that beauty can be re-stitched into one’s life.
