Support for every stage of growth
For individuals, families, teenagers and educational institutions.
Individual Therapy
Therapy isn’t just for moments of crisis — it is also for the in-between moments, when something feels unsettled, even if you can’t yet name it.
Within a compassionate and safe therapeutic space, clients begin to develop social and emotional skills that support healthier relationships with themselves and others. Change is rarely linear; it asks for patience, honesty and courage. As a therapist I am here to offer steady support, reflection and insight as you make sense of your experiences. As clarity grows, new perspectives emerge, creating space for meaningful, lasting change.
If you’re looking to cultivate more emotionally intelligent and grounded responses to life as it unfolds, I invite you to begin with a free 15-minute consultation.
Counselling for Educational Institutions
Schools today are navigating a visible rise in anxiety and emotional distress among children and adolescents. Students face intense academic pressure while simultaneously negotiating peer relationships and identity development, often without adequate emotional support.
An overemphasis on performance-based learning can unintentionally sideline essential aspects of development: self-awareness, curiosity, resilience, motivation and relational skills. While rigorous environments may challenge students intellectually, they can also leave them feeling stressed, isolated or depleted. Young people thrive best in learning spaces where mistakes are treated as opportunities, empathy is practiced daily, and growth is not rushed or constrained.
I am a certified School Psychologist with several decades of experience in therapeutic and preventative mental health care in US schools. My work brings mindfulness-based Social Emotional Learning practices to classrooms while supporting the adults who shape school culture.
How I support schools
- Partnering with leadership to strengthen well-being and relational culture across the school community.
- Consulting with teachers to develop trauma-informed, relationship-driven classroom practices.
- Facilitating teacher circles that offer reflective, supportive spaces for shared challenges and growth.
- Offering parent workshops and groups that reinforce emotional learning at home.
My approach blends psychological insight with philosophical reflection, supporting both institutional well-being and the personal growth of educators. When appropriate, I also provide referrals for individual therapy for students.
Working with Parents
Much is said about the joys of parenthood, but far less about its challenges. This silence can make what is an already demanding role feel isolating, overwhelming and heavy with self-doubt.
As a licensed School Psychologist and Conscious Parent Coach, I support parents through mentorship and practical skill-building. Parenting carries enormous responsibility, and the pressure to “get it right” can leave little room for uncertainty or mistakes. Together, we explore how to build connection, clarify priorities, and develop an approach that balances structure and play — allowing space for imperfection without guilt.
Parents often bring questions such as:
- How do we respond thoughtfully to risk-taking?
- How do we create mutual respect without power struggles?
- How do we encourage intrinsic motivation rather than dependence on rewards?
- How do we set healthy boundaries around screens?
Through individualized parent coaching, group workshops, and facilitated Q&A spaces, I offer both practical tools and a supportive community — so parents can feel more confident, connected, and grounded in the work of raising children.
Working with Teenagers
Not children anymore, and not yet adults, teenage years are overwhelming. Teens navigate complex social dynamics to try to fit in, while also searching for their own individuality. This can often involve brutal challenges of peer pressure, feeling left out, or struggling to stand up for oneself. They are also beginning to claim independence from their parents, while still needing their support and understanding — all whilst managing expectations of academic success and making significant decisions about their future.
It’s crucial for teens to have a safe, supportive space where they can openly discuss these experiences without judgment and know they’re not alone. I facilitate support groups for teenagers — for girls, boys, and mixed groups — where young people can explore these common challenges together. These groups focus on building healthy friendships, managing peer pressure, addressing feelings of exclusion, and developing inner confidence. Through open conversation and peer support, teens strengthen their resilience and sense of self during this pivotal stage of life.
